Welcome to the Trona Joint Unified School District website, where you will find relevant and important information related to our district. The Trona Joint Unified School District is committed to providing both academic and social-emotional support to ALL students. Our Board of Education, administration, and school and district personnel are dedicated to our students, families, and community at large.

Here in Trona, our schools combine rigorous, innovative, academic instruction with an emphasis on empowering and educating every student. We take great pride in fostering parent and community relationships, as well as maintaining a family atmosphere in our schools. A wide range of extracurricular activities complements the academic experience to provide our students with an overall educational experience not available at all public schools. It is our commitment to excel and to look for different opportunities for our students to succeed and get the best possible educational experience possible.

Our faculty members are caring, compassionate, life-long learners who are dedicated to our students' success. Our classified personnel support student learning with a wide array of skills and abilities, whether inside or outside the classroom. The administration leads and supports the commitment to removing barriers that would prevent students and staff from maximizing their potential. Furthermore, our Board’s commitment to students’ success is evident and their main goal is to support every single student.

The mission of our schools is not to ensure that students are taught, but rather to assure that they are learning. “It takes a village to educate a child,” and we all -students, parents, teachers, staff, administrators, and community members- should understand and participate in supporting that process.

We thank you for your support and thank you for visiting our website, hopefully, you continuously visit us and read about the great things happening in the Trona Joint Unified School District!
